Earlier this week, Kris flew to his mother’s birth-country Kazakhstan to perform at “Voice of Astana” but he also visited the Kazakh tv-channel Qazaqstan morning show Tansholpan on June 14 where he sang the Kazakh patriotic song “Atameken” and made an interview. I have uploaded 300 LQ screencaps (but adorable) from the appearance on Tansholpan. I also thought it was about time to link the video. You can find the performance and the interview below. It’s something special when Kris sings “Atameken”. Be sure to watch it and check the screencaps out in the gallery link below.
First, we wanna say sorry for lack of updates this week but we have more important stuff we need to take care before KKD at the moment. It’s middle of exams, lots of work and focus on to get the health under control. But I searched around yesterday and found some content that could be perfect to use as a TBT this week. It’s the performance of John Lennon‘s “Imagine” from UNICEF‘s 25th Anniversary of the Adoption of UNCRC. Kris was one of the honored artists to sing at this Unicef charity event for the #IMAGINE project that took place in New York on November 20, 2014.
UNICEF invites young Russian singer Kristian Kostov to join Hugh Jackman, Katy Perry, Yoko Ono and David Guetta to sing John Lennon’s Imagine and help raise awareness of children’s rights.
Grand finale of a performance of ‘Imagine’, led by the 15 year old singer, Kristian Kostov, who is then joined by all artists on the main stage of the Hall where Yoko Ono sits at a white piano; all are accompanied by a 65 person children’s choir coming down the aisles from the back of the Hall to the stage
Russian singer Kristian Kostov is the only teenage pop star among a host of high profile supporters from all regions in the world to join the #IMAGINE concert, organized by renowned music producer and DJ David Guetta and artist Yoko Ono.

He even got to speak in front of the audience. 14 years old. He’s so grown up for this age especially in this video (please watch the whole video).
I uploaded a few photos in the gallery yesterday from the event that I think you should check out. You find the gallery links below the video.
I hope you like the TBT and once again we’re utterly sorry for the inactivity. We hope we’ll be better at updating soon!

Our gallery is constantly being updated, with both old and new photos. So far we have over 4500 photos in our gallery, and more will come!
One of our recent additions are photos Luce Folle took of Kris in the summer of 2017, when he was performing at Musiconetv’s concert Maekva Live (маёвка лайв) on May 20th, and when he was taking part in the Bloggers of Russia event on June 12th (Блогерыроссии), both in Moscow.
Please credit both the photographer and the Kris Kostov Daily Website if you use any of the photos!
Since the Eurovision week is over we are finally back with some other news not only of Eurovision. We’re starting off with Kris’ new video on his youtube channel that he uploaded earlier today. The video is a cover and music video of “Serendipity” originally by the South Korean boy band BTS (방탄소년단).
I still can’t get over how aesthetic this boi is. I guess he was born that way but it’s starting to annoy me a bit haha because he makes everything so artistic and professional. Also, I think he’s starting to find his Kazakh/Chinese/Korean origins in himself, he slowly starting look more like his big brother Daniel whose I think has very clear looks from their mother’s Kazakh/Chinese/Korean origins.
Daniel is also the music producer of this cover and Kris’ friend Misha is the director and editor of the video. When these three working together it always ends up into something unique and creative.
Enjoy Kris’ the cover and if you haven’t subscribed to him yet…what are you waiting for? Subscribe to his channel and Misha’s channel!
Last and not least, I added a bunch of screencaps that you can find on the link below the video.
Kris joined the TEENS Awards (a concert with participants from New Wave, Children’s New Wave, Eurovision, Junior Eurovision, The Voice Russia and The Voice Kids Russia) at MIR Concert Hall in Moscow last night (March 26). He performed Burning Bridges on stage and he slayed as always. And I uploaded four red carpet photos in the gallery (to be updated). He’s a tall fella, yes. I know since I felt so tiny by his side when I met him last summer. Enjoy the performance of Burning Bridges. (Thanks once again Nanna for sharing all these videos)

I’ve added over 50 pictures in the gallery from the photo session that Kris had with the Russian photographer Daniil Velichko (PRO Production) last year. This photo session is one of my favorites of Kris. He is such a photogenic aesthetic human being it’s unbelievable. All photos are uploaded in the gallery but the ones below are my four personal favorites.
(Also…I’m sorry for the mess going on in the gallery but I’m trying to get it more sorted and easy to navigate on all kinds of devices.)
